About Product
This 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 is a striking and tastefully modified example of Toyota’s iconic off-road legend, finished in Gray with a Beige soft top and Tan interior.
This South American-market FJ40 was imported from Venezuela in 2020 and underwent extensive mechanical upgrades to combine the rugged charm of a vintage Land Cruiser with the power and reliability of modern Toyota engineering.
Under the hood lies a 4.5-liter 1FZ-F straight-6 engine, sourced from a 1995 80-Series Land Cruiser, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case. Additional enhancements include 5-bolt 70-Series axles, a 4-inch lift kit with Old Man Emu shocks, and front and rear winches — making this an exceptionally capable off-road build.
Toyota’s 40-Series Land Cruiser cemented the model’s global reputation for durability and dependability. Produced from 1960 to 1983 (and in some markets until 2001), it remains one of the most collectible and functional classic 4x4s ever built.
